Springtime in London

Can hardly believe that we are in June already! 2020 certainly has been an absolute roller coaster of a year for everyone and I think the only solace is that we are all going through it together.

I am so very very grateful that the virus did not affect me overall. I did contract the virus myself but had a mere cough, fever and loss of taste and smell.Apart from holidays to Australia and France etc being cancelled I am very fortunate to still have my job and health and so far nothing terrible happen to a loved one. I can only imagine the stress heartache and worry that so many are feeling who have been affected. We are all going to come out of this bigger and stronger together<3

With lockdown restrictions eased and more movement within the country I have hardly had a spare day to myself. With pubs and restaurants closed we have all being finding fun and interesting ways to socialise safely. The weather has been absolutely banging until now so picnics in the park and cycling around London have been my favourite things to do. Some highlights from the last month.

Best ice cream in London! ODDONO’S in South Kensington.

Had a cute picnic at Battersea Park with our friend Sam. He bought Didzis and I a nice bottle of champagne and this cute card!

My oldest and closest friend Tyler, cracked a few bottles of bubbles in Potters Fields Park :)

Took a little road trip to the coastline and ended up in Brighton!

Dim Sum places in Chinatown are doing takeaway so D and I had to pick up a few dumplings!

I recently decided to try a plant based diet and I have been OBSESSED with acai bowls. Nothing better than an afternoon walk along the Thames and taking in the beautiful London skylines. I am obsessed with Tower Bridge as I am sure many of you already know from my instagram.

Blogs at the moment are getting a bit more boring to write as there isn’t anything major going on but getting out of the house daily and finding fun things to do is getting easier as places slowly start opening up and with the weather being exceptionally lovely. There is nothing better than an English spring!

Hope you’re all staying well and safe,
